Purpose of Role:
The Warehouse & Delivery Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities and timely deliveries to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliveries & Customer Service: Handle deliveries to clients, ensuring excellent customer service and reporting any issues to management.
  • Furniture Assembly & Installation: Assist with and, when appropriate, carry out furniture assembly and installations.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Support: Assist with receiving goods, inventory checks, organizing stock, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Packing & Dispatch: Ensure outgoing goods are appropriately packed for safe dispatch and assist with warehouse organization.
  • Vehicle & Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles and the warehouse.
  • Manual Handling & Safety: Perform manual lifting, loading, and unloading of stock, adhering to safety guidelines and using provided safety equipment.

Essential Licenses:

  • Full Driving License (Heavy Rigid Preferrable)
  • Forklift + Picker License

    About You:

    • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory, prioritize tasks, and maintain a tidy and efficient warehouse environment.
    • Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate packing, handling of goods, and reporting of discrepancies to avoid errors.
    • Customer-Focused: Provide excellent service, handling client interactions professionally and ensuring deliveries are on time.
    • Reliability and Self-Motivation: Capable of working independently, managing responsibilities without constant supervision.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods, while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Team Player: Willing to assist colleagues as needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
