14.1 is composed of a single cast-glass pendant that attaches to a canopy.

Deep Canopy

Standard outside of North America and Latin America. The deep canopy is 4.5" / 116 mm in diameter and 1.6" / 40 mm deep. It is designed for surface-mounted applications that cannot use a junction box or ceiling cavity. The canopy is completely enclosed by a back plate, and houses the transformer.

Based between Vancouver and Berlin, Omer Arbel cultivates a fluid position between the fields of architecture, sculpture, invention and design. He is one of the founders of Bocci.

Focal themes of his work include investigation of intrinsic mechanical, physical, and chemical qualities of materials as well as the exploration of light as a medium.
