Dedicated to living en plein air, the Gio outdoor bench forms part of a large family of sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables and loungers. Classic yet contemporary in style, on a solid natural teakwood or a special antique grey finish frame, which gives the wood a particular lived-in look with silver grey reflections. The seat cushion is particularly comfortable and covered with outdoor fabrics.
Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio was born in Meda in 1950 and today lives and works in Milan. He graduated in architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and from 1972 he has worked for leading manufacturers Vitra, Flexform, Flos, Iittala, Kartell and Arclinea. He has an ongoing role as art director for Maxalto and is the architect behind the group's retail showrooms around the world. In 2007 he received the Royal Designer for Industry award from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce in London.
