History of Salone del Mobile
The Salone del Mobile began in 1961 with a clear mission: to promote Italian furniture exports. Adding to its cultural depth is the 2025 campaign, “Thought for Humans”, developed by New York artist Bill Durgin. This theme emphasizes how design integrates into everyday life, creating spaces that inspire and uplift.
