Under the creative direction of Marcel Wanders, Moooi presented its first collection at the Salone del Mobile in Milano in April 2001. Since then Moooi has worked with some of the best international creatives including Studio Job, Front, and Maarten Baas. Moooi's aim is broader than furniture alone, it sets out to inspire, amuse, intrigue and ultimately celebrate individuality. Based in The Netherlands, Moooi is one of the youngest design groups to establish such a strong following in the competitive and heritage-rich design industry.
